![]() Devolver Digital's Loop Hero has amassed more than 500,000 players and redefined the roguelite genre. Loop Hero's Battlefield card spawns precious treasure chests, but it can cause several detrimental effects if players aren't being careful. It just gives me more time for the animations to play, and helps keep me out of stamina problems when my character has a full set of skeletons and decides it's proper to use his stupid 4-7 damage dagger attack. Loop Hero: Why Players Should Carefully Place Battlefield Cards. ![]() This bonus is additive, meaning you kill 100, you get an extra 300 HP. Necromancer has a nice interaction with this, the crypt gives necro 3 Hp per kill if it has a soul. Same for the desert, the ones that give 1 only. The arrangement of this card has a direct impact on your play style. A very efficient way to do it is to cover half the map with the river and only use Thickets near the river, not forrest. While the oasis affects my summons, it also affects the enemies just as equally. Loop Hero is a challenging card-based game, where arrangement matters the most. ![]() This slows enemy attack speed slow enough that the 2 second death animation delay of my skeletons isn't likely to cause me to go into stamina cooldown and leave me with no summons up while enemies are beating on me. I use deserts to create oasis on one side of my map, and forests with river on the other to raise my attack speed to about 250%. Desert and Sand Dunes are extremely useful to Necromancers.
